'Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners' 1 Timothy 1:15
A Message of Hope in Perilous Times
Mankind, in his natural state, is full of sin and wickedness. Our first parents, Adam and Eve, were created perfect in the Garden of Eden, but they disobeyed God's commands, and fell from perfection to be fallen, and to be sinful. Ever since, all those who were descendant from them, that is, all mankind, inherited their sinfulness, and are sinful from the womb. One day, fixed in the eternal mind of God, the whole world will be judged. All will have to stand before God, and will be divided into two groups; the one destined for the terrors of Hell for eternity, the other for the joys of Heaven. As we are, as natural men, we are bound for Hell. We cannot enter Heaven on our own merit, for all of our best works are as filthy rags in the sight of the holy and perfect God. Is there no hope then for mankind? Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. There is hope. Jesus Christ died upon the cross, to bear the sin of all those that would trust in his name for salvation. Trust in him, acknowledge your great wickedness, pray to God by Jesus Christ that through his atonement upon the cross you might be forgiven of all your sin; repent and believe. Turn your back on your sinful ways, as stated by the Scriptures, our rule for life, and begin to obey the commands of God. Entrance to Heaven can only be obtained by humbling yourself before God in this way, and pleading for mercy. There is assurance that none who come in sincerity will ever be turned away. But do not delay in this matter. Delay could be fatal for you. This is why these are perilous times. There is a day coming when the Lord Jesus Christ will return to judge the world, and it may be that you will die before that time comes, for you must certainly die unless he comes; but death will but bring you sooner to the judgement seat. You may die tomorrow. Would you have Hell, when the gospel invitation is here for you? Will you reject the gracious words of Jesus?
